For Americans stressing about medical bills

Hey guys! Just wanted to share that I feel so overwhelmed by crappy healthcare costs in the U.S. (even with decent insurance) and I am sure you probably do, too. However, please don’t hesitate to apply for financial aid through your hospital or at the very least, set up a payment plan.

Somehow we don’t qualify for financial aid (which is crazy to me and a whole different conversation), but I just set up a payment plan for the $2190 I currently owe my hospital (baby isn’t even here yet lol), and it took 5 minutes. No questions asked. Just spreading it out over 12 months and done. 👍🏼 Now I’ve finally hit my out of pocket maximum for the year ($4000) so hopefully we won’t get any new bills unless they charge baby as a separate account 🙄.

So yeah. Don’t be afraid to set up those payment plans. No interest. Super easy.
