Handcuffs

I meantioned to my boyfriend that I wanted to explore and then as the convo contuined on I meantioned about handcuffing sounded hot. And he already has handcuffs so he said he would use them next time. However, he has a very good question and I don’t know what I want. He said “should we just normally fuck with the handcuffs or are suppose to do something else?” And idrk

What do u guys who use handcuffs do? Is there any tips or tricks I should know about?
