Why am I bleeding/Fever.

Last night I became ill with a fever of over 38°c and all of the symptoms of flu. I hallucinated most of the night. Today my fever is down to a high 37°c but I’m still suffering with all of the symptoms including diarrhoea and a horrible headache (TMI sorry). I’m dealing with it as best as I can but this morning I began to bleed. It’s light but I’m passing clots now. My period finished about a week ago. Is this simply a symptom of the virus? I don’t really have any pain.
