Egg retrieval

So yesterday I had my egg retrieval. They retrieved 12! I received a called this morning that 8 of the 12 were mature and out of the 8.. 6 of them successfully fertilized! I am ecstatic! I’ve been so stressed that we would be left with nothing because you just never know what to expect. Just praying over the next few days that the 6 divide like they should so we have some to freeze for our transfer next month!! If you believe in prayer could you say a quick one for us. ❤️ Don’t know what I would do without all the ladies from glow!

Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers! The 6 that successfully fertilized also divided successfully overnight! 😊 I will not have an update for another 3 or 4 days but the lab said the 6 are right where they like them to be. I’m so relieved, I pray they all continue to divide like they are suppose to till it’s time to freeze. ❤️

Just received an email from the lab showing that 4 of our 6 that fertilized made it to freeze! 🙏🙌🏻🙌🏻 I’m so happy as I was only mentally expecting 2 or 3! Praying the 4 frozen blastocysts that we have are strong!
