Progesterone Question

This is my first month on Clomid 50mg and I got my 21 day progesterone checked yesterday morning and I was only 3 dpo. I tried to explain to my obgyn that I should test at 7 dpo for a more accurate reading but she shouldn't listen. My results came back at 11.5. Is this too high? I was sure I ovulated this month because I had the worst ovulation pain EVER (almost went to the hospital) and my temps shot wayyyyy up after so I thought this whole progesterone testing thing was a waste of time. Now I'm wondering if the progesterone is too high? With all the ovulation pain I wonder if I released more than one egg? What do you guys think?
