Husband at HSG ?

Question

Was your husband allowed in the room for your HSG procedure?
I wasn’t sure if it was something he could come to? I don’t want him to take time off work to just sit in a waiting room. I know he won’t mind, just wondering what you all did?

I was told on the phone that nobody could come back with me, but I asked when they took me back and they allowed him back there! He wore the suit to protect from radiation or whatever, I was so happy! Not sure if that is the case everywhere though.

My husband came. He didn’t come in the room but he wanted to come for comfort and support. It was nerve wracking for me going in (even though it was fast) but I was really crampy right after so was nice to not have to drive after!

Mine was not. I didn't ask him to come with. I wish I had though, I ended up cramping pretty badly and was dizzy etc. 
Good news is that we got pregnant days after my HSG. We had been trying for 5 years. We've been able to conceive without any assistance since then as well!

My partner had to wait in the waiting room as it is an X-ray room you have to go into so they don’t let anyone else in unfortunately, it would’ve been nice to have had him as it was quite painful 👎🏼

My husband didn’t come to mine. I didn’t think there was a need for him to miss work for that!

My husband came in for mine. I’m glad he did, we’re in this together! He got to see what us women go through lol. Besides I almost passed out. I don’t think it would have been a good idea for me to drive myself home.
