Safe or not?

My list from my OB just says “Sudafed (nasal congestion) *Avoid in Hypertension”
I am 14 weeks today and congested with allergy nasal drainage.

Saline rinse works wonders! 
Even for post nasal drip. I’m 33 weeks and do a rinse twice a day for my post nasal drip and some stuffed sinuses. My husband thought I was “weird. Leaking water out my nose” but it works! 
Pro tip! Take a q-tip + some Vaseline and rub it on the side of your nose after. Will stop nose bleeds and feeling dry.

This is approved by my OB and I also downloaded the app called pregnancy approved and it says safe during pregnancy there too as long as you don’t have high blood pressure.

My dr said no. No decongestants or antihistamines. Saline rinses and Tylenol only.

Have you tried Flonase and Vick’s rub? I’ve been sick for a week my ob told me normal Sudafed and Mucinex are okay but you may want to talk to your dr about the congestion one.

As long as it is Sudafed (Pseudoephedrine) and not Sudafed PE (Phenylephidrine), it is safe during pregnancy. Just need to check the active ingredient. The one you have is fine!
