different drs, different opinions

I’ve been seeing here and there about SO having low sperm count/low T and their doctor suggesting an IUI or IVF right off the bat.

We are currently on our (his) second month of clomid due to low T and low (4.3 mil) sperm count; our dr seemed very hopeful that this would help and it was a good possibility of conceiving after the first 3 months.

I know it’s possible for the medication to raise everything high enough to conceive, but should I have just insisted on an IUI right off the bat with it being that low? I just don’t want to keep wasting time waiting/hoping this medication works..
