4 to 6 week OP sex

Anyone elses doctor clear them for pp sex at 4 weeks as long as your bleeding stopped?

I know of course 6 weeks is the standard. But my doctor clearly told me and my husband that as long as bleeding has stopped and we are at our 4 week mark then we are good to go even before going in for a check up. I thought I was weird but wanted to let people know not all doctors have the same rules. We tried about 4w3d pp it was fine. Still tender so we decided to wait until 6 wks just because. So I know a lot of women shame women for having sex and such since their doctors tell them 6 weeks but not all doctors have the same rule. Yes I had 2 stitches along the road.
