High Risk!?!

Question

Anyone considered high risk?
If so , how often do you go to the high risk doctor?
Anyone have a cerclage on the cervix ? How did that go?

I'm high risk and I was seeing the doc twice a week. He mellowed out a little and I'm currently seeing him every few weeks now

I'm considered high risk because I have Factor V Leiden which is a genetic blood clotting condition and I have had 3 miscarriages. I see the maternal fetal specialist tomorrow (9.5 weeks) and they will determine a course of action. I'm not anticipating having to see them more than once a month unless unexpected problems arise, but they will have me on daily shots to prevent clotting for the entire pregnancy, and they will monitor more closely for complications such as preeclampsia as my pregnancy progresses.

I am due to loosing my daughter prematurely & having an ectopic pregnancy. Doctor wants me to have a cerclage done at 12 weeks & makena shots. This is new to me too so I wonder how it feels and goes. I’m 5 weeks & 3 days

My first OB/ scan isn’t until tomorrow but from my previous pregnancy they told me I would be high risk. I had to have an emergency cerclage placed at 20 weeks with my first because I was already dilated to a 2. The stitch held and was removed at 36 weeks and continued to carry my son until 38 weeks. Now I will have one placed around 12-14 weeks preventively. I guess I will know more for sure tomorrow.
