Hi all,

I’m in my third trimester with my first pregnancy and man has the foot/ankle swelling hit me hard. My doctor says the edema is pretty normal and there’s no other signs that point to anything concerning. But I’m having serious tenderness in my feet in the areas that are swollen. Like to the point where resting one foot on top of the other makes me wince. Getting shoes on is a test of my will-power and I can’t imagine wearing compression socks or anything because it’s just so painful to touch. Is the tenderness normal and related to the swelling? Anyone else having issues with this?
