Are these normal? Are they considered varicose veins?

So I just took this picture of the back of my right leg. Look how my veins look! Is this normal during pregnancy? This is also the same leg I’ve been having shooting pain in for over a week and it won’t go away. Like do I consult my doctor about it? Or let it be?

Those are very much varicose veins. Talk to your doctor about it. And get some compression stockings

Could that be why I’ve been getting shooting pain up and down my leg for over a week? And not actually sciatica? Like apparently I’ve always had varicose veins,, just never noticed them to look like that before! Like girl my leg literally gets stuck all the time where I’m barely able to get out of bed or even walk. And I have to stand all day for my job which makes it even worse.

Definitely! Go see your doctor and get long compression socks.
My brother majorly f@cked my moms veins up. She has then everywhere from hips down, absolutely covered. She’s 51 and had several surgeries to remove them.. they come back before she’s even fully healed/few days post opt in new places and near removed veins. 
It’s extremely painful to have them removed by surgery. Definitely take steps to minimize them!!
