Do you go to bed when your SO does whether you're tired or not?

This is crazy but my husband bitches about me not going to sleep when he does and it's getting on my fucking nerves. Even when I'm on my period so it can't be just about sex. I feel like i'm fucking grown and I'll go to bed when i'm tired. Anyone have anything similar? Don't even bother telling me to leave - married over 10 years with kids - this shit is till death.

I go to bed waaaay before my husband.  I go to sleep and he stays up and gets his "me time" playing videogames. 
If you need some time by yourself, let him know that. If he feels strongly about being in bed at the same time, tell him he might want to stay up a little later then... Lol

Mine has to be up at 6 everyday so he’s usually asleep by 10 & I stay up and catch up on my shows and do laundry or tidy the house up , put the dogs in and then shower and go to bed . However , I always get in bed with him because he can’t and won’t sleep if I’m not there . It’s something I noticed ( he would toss and turn but 2 mins after I get in bed with him , he’s snoring)and then I asked him about it and he said that he feels more comfortable having my body on his , it helps him relax . On the weekends we stay up and sleep at the same time . Maybe yours is just a bit attached and likes your comfort . Try talking to him and telling him that you’re just not tired yet and it makes it hard to fall asleep when you’re tossing and turning forcing yourself to fall asleep .

My husband leaves early and gets home around 7pm. We go to bed together after the kids get put to bed. It's just part of the time we get together. If I'm not tired I'll watch a movie or play on my phone after he falls asleep until I'm tired.

Wow! Naw I go to bed earlier than my man sometimes & i'd never ask him to go to bed with me when I go..
Ask him why? Does he think you're up cheating talking to men or something?  Seems like an incredible waste of his breath.
Don't give in cos he'll expect you to do it every time he goes to bed

Not typically but we have an infant and she typically goes to sleep after my husband. He used to stay up and play video games too. Never once bothered either of us.

I lay in here with him. He doesn’t ask me to sleep at the same time. He does like me to be around. He struggles to sleep if im away. Sometimes will have nightmares if im gone. He wakes up wondering where I am and scared. 
I do the same. 😂
7 years together. I enjoy laying with him. However, I will fall asleep whenever I want to. But I take unisom just so I can sleep with him.

Nope & he doesn’t ask me to because my fiancé isn’t a controlling piece of crap. I’m considerate of him sleeping but if he’s been working all day & I’ve slept through the day clearly I’m gonna be up late & I can’t just force myself to sleep, I turn the TV or my phone all the way down & I’m as quiet as possible when gaming but that’s about it.

My husband likes to cuddle. So he prefers if we go to bed at the same time. 
Plus he sleeps in the dark, so I’d have to go into the living room which I like my bed. 
Now when our baby comes in May, I’ll probably lay my son down, lay our infant down, Lay with my husband till he falls asleep and try to get some sleep myself until the baby wakes up. 
But yeah usually we go to bed together and wake up together.
