How do you know you have uti?

May sounds stupid but I didn't pee after sex, it's really new for me.
Now I feel a bit weird down there and I don't know if it's just because sex is new and he fingered me too many times also...so it just gets sensitive now.
So How to recognise an uti?? Does it smell? Does it scratch, hurt??

It can be achey in lower stomach and lower back and can hurt a lot when peeing. The last thing is the tell tale sign. I've also been told general confusion can be a sign of a uti. But obv these symptoms can be caused by something else. Whether or not you have it, drink a lot and regularly

First weekend I had sex(like a lot) I didn't know that you're suppose to pee after sex. I was not educated lol and I felt sore but then when I used the bathroom I started peeing blood and it burned like crazy. I felt like I had to pee every ten minutes and it would burn...if you're burning when you pee or if you see blood in your stool then definitely go to a doctor.

It fucking burns and as much as you need to pee, it doesn’t happen. Trust me, you’ll know if you have one. If you do have one, go to the doctor and get antibiotics. If left untreated it can lead to kidney failure
