Birth control after pregnancy!???

I’m due with my first baby any day now and am terrified of becoming pregnant too soon after having him so I really want to get started on some birth control. I just have no idea where to start 😳 what birth control do you mommas recommend for after baby comes? We want to try again in a year so our babes are about 2 years apart (ideally)

Some doctors will place an IUD immediately after delivery, if you’re wanting to breast feed you would probably have to go with the copper one though, since I assume the hormones wouldn’t work with that.

I started my pill back up pretty much right after I gave birth. I didnt breastfeed so it wasnt an issue. But we also decided after the 6 week appointment we wanted another one so I quit taking it lol. Daughter turns 1 on June2nd and due with baby boy on June 25th 😅

I liked the Depo while I was Breastfeeding.

I would look into the IUD. I had the mirena.
