Late walker?

So my son is coming up on 14 months soon and still doesn’t want to walk yet? He will walk in his walker, walk with the push toy, walking holding my fingers, cruse around anything he can hold on to.. and has been doing so since 10 months but when it comes to him walking / standing alone he instantly sits down and crawls. Did / Does anyone else have a late walker? Any tips?

my baby did the same till 12 months. She was scared to walk without support but all of a sudden one day she started walking on her own! 🤷🏻‍♀️ just wait and give him some time:)

My son will also be 14 months on the 17th of April and he doesn’t want to walk alone!!!!!! He only will walk around objects with his toy walker and around walls etc. Please let me know if it’s abnormal because my daughter was full out walking at 11 months

My daughter doesn’t walk either yet. Does all the same things as yours. It’s like I know she can but she’s scared. She’s 14 months tomorrow

My daughter will be 14 months the 8th and just started actually walking this past week. She was always trying and walked along furniture since 10 months, but finally got the hang of it a week ago!

So normal! The actual “average” for walking is actually 13 months. My daughter will be 14 months on the 18th and just started letting go of our hands yesterday and taking a few steps! But still not initiating walking on her own. Don’t worry, they will get there! Doctors and nurses don’t even worry until at least around 16-18 months :)

Yes! My baby is 14 months now and she can’t walk unassisted yet. She cruises and holds on objects and can’t stand for several seconds. But that’s it. She can stand and sit on her own. She crawled late though at 11 months. Before that she would cry whenever I put her down and have her crawl so I didn’t push her anymore. She just suddenly crawled by herself at 11 months without us teaching her.

Every baby is different. I didn't walk until nearly 2 and it did me no harm. 14 months is still quite early. Probably won't be long now.
