Wisdom tooth infection during pregnancy

Hello ladies so I went to the dentist today as I was suffering from horrible tooth ache and he said that my wisdom tooth is infected and I need to take augmentin for 1 week . I told him I was 2 months pregnant and he said that augmentin is safe during pregnancy .

Has anyone taken this antibiotic during pregnancy ? Pls advice me ladies
