Announcing pregnancy

Hi all,

I had an ultrasound yesterday 9+2 and Bub is going well.

My husband wants to announce to his immediate family around Easter (week 12) BUT I won’t see baby between now and then.

I am so worried that something may have gone wrong when we announce and I won’t realise.

I will have down syndrome blood test at week 10 but don’t know if that confirms everything is ok. My next ultrasound isn’t until 13 weeks.

Am I nuts? Should I just tell them? I just don’t want to get people’s hopes up.
