Anyone had luck convincing their SO to go with your name choice?

We each have a name we love. We like each other’s choices, but prefer our own. Any ideas how I can subtly sell him on my name choice as the one we go with?! 😅

If he doesn’t like it, you can’t convince him to see it your way. Scratch the name YOU want and find something you can BOTH agree on... after all, it is his baby too and has every right to like and choose the name...

I get to name my baby..husband makes suggestions but I get the last say. He's  cool like that.

He kept saying no to all my names then we finally narrowed down to two names! And I told him I’m going to choose between them because you are annoying and cancelled my fav name already ! 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Persistence is key lol. My husband practically picked out my first son's name. I liked the first name- the middle name I could have lived without bc it's grandpa's name. But it was our first so I went along with it. This time around I stood my ground, was persistent and IIIII gave him my top 3 to pick from. So I won lol

It’s all about compromise. My husband is the third and wants to name our son the fourth. I am not a fan of his name (John) but we would nickname our son Jack which I dont mind. I get dibs on a girls name. I think it’s fair. 🤷‍♀️

My husband and I are dealing with this right now. We like each others but like our own more. We are going to try to find one we both like. If we can’t decide I’ll probably let my step daughter make the call. She likes mine. Lol!

my boyfriend was dead set on Noah being the middle name but I liked Parker. literally minutes after giving birth he agreed to Parker lol I didn't ask, he just said "we can go with whatever middle name you want" 😂
