Mucus Plug?

Is it evident when you lose your mucus plug? I keep checking the tissue when I go to the bathroom but don’t know if it’s discharge or my mucus plug. FTM at 35+5.

Everything I read online says that the texture should be different from your normal cm. I’ve had a lot of cm and it’s mostly creamy or wet and your mucus plug should be more of a snot consistency? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t remember losing it with my first.

Unless you’re expecting early labor I think you have a while to go before you’ll lose it!

I think it’s different for everyone. Sometimes it comes out little by little and sometimes all at once. With my 1st baby it was a huge chunk, maybe the whole thing? 2nd baby, never lost it prior to labor starting.
