advice on being invited over for dinner.

so a very great friend of mine, who happens to be a boy, invited me over for dinner for spring break in a week or so. he said his parents aren’t going to be home, and he wanted to spend some time with me. he asked if i had anything to do during break, and i said i was working but not much. then he asked if i could come over and have dinner with him. he’s making it and i’m super excited. i don’t think it’s a date, because i don’t think he likes me. i have small feelings for him, but i don’t mind being just friends. anyways i’m nervous on what to wear, i mean i bought some new clothes, but i don’t know really. idk if i should put a ton of makeup on, idk i’m nervous nobody ever asks me to do things! i need advice on what to wear, and some things to keep in mind!! thank you!!
