okay so i had the hpv vaccine years ago and i’ve only had 2 sexual partners ever, but i’ve now been told by an obgyn that i have the high risk strain of hpv. i got a colposcopy but i’m just wondering how is that possible if i had the vaccine? and is it possible that my mother could have transmitted it to me through birth (probably a myth) because she found out only last year that she had HPV. So i’m just curious if maybe i’ve had it all this time because of my mom and that’s why getting the vaccine wasn’t effective??
