Dear Anonymous,

Today's my birthday and I'm celebrating alone. I was going to go and get my toes done but I was held up after work for 20 minutes for quarter end things ( I work in finance)which honestly those 20 minutes made all the difference of getting to the nail salon, being seated, and having my pedicure done but all before my children needed to be picked up. So I didn't go. I recieved a bunch of text and Facebook posts but only my mother called and that was very brief. Don't blame her, she's busy too.

Maybe I'm emotional because AF is about to start but it's still just me and my kids. So no big plans or anyone to rub my feet or bake a cake for me or run me a hot bath or take the kids and allow me to relax. It was just another day. I'm blessed don't get me wrong nor am I complaining.

This is life!

I'm enjoying a few minutes of me time before I head to bed and start all over again tomorrow.
