If something were to happen to me,

I’m curious. My partner passed away and recently I’ve been wondering what would happen to my son if something happened to me. His biological father is not on the birth certificate and he’s not in the picture at all, and I wouldn’t want him to be. But, if I passed away, which I hope I don’t, but tomorrow is never promised, where would my baby go? (He’s only 7months)

My mom and dad help support us. Would she get custody?
