Condom counting

So, my partner and I have not been using condoms, but we used to. We’ve been arguing a lot, about stupid things, and last night he went to sleep in the living room, and then I couldn’t sleep, so I went in the drawer and counted the condoms. Originally, I had counted 31 when we stopped using them. Last night I counted 28. I brought it up to him and he insisted he didn’t do anything. I left to go to my parents house and he called and said he found three in his backpack. I asked him why he’d do that and he said it was an ‘adult habit’ he had and didn’t think anything of it.
