How often do you change your cats litter box?

I scoop her litter box everyday and most of the time usually at the end of the week I dump it all out and clean the litter box and put in new litter.

Sometimes though I will change it twice a week and my so says that’s too much and wasting litter. While I can see that, she walks around on furniture and poops in a box that she walks all in. I would probably change it every other day if the littler I buy wasn’t like 10 dollars. She likes having a clean box, too.
