Update! I went to the er yesterday and they said it’s being considered a threatened miscarriage but my pregnancy is currently still viable. I’m on bed and pelvic rest. I have an ultrasound tomorrow and getting a second blood draw to look at my hcg levels as well. Cervix is closed and no tissue has come out. Hoping everything works out ❤️❤️❤️

I’m 7 weeks with my fourth child. Last night I woke up to use the restroom at about 2:30am and when I wiped there was pink blood and a very small almost rice sized clot in the toilet. I called the ER and the nurse said it was common and since I didn’t feel pain and it was a small amount it should be fine but call the doctor on Monday morning.

So this morning I woke up and there was blood again. There was a dime sized spot in my underwear and then blood when I wiped and this time it was bright red. I called the er again and this nurse said unfortunately it was a sign I was losing my baby so just call my doc in the morning. Every time I use the restroom now, there is blood. It isn’t getting on my pad between restroom breaks but there’s a lot when I wipe and by “a lot” I mean I have to wipe several times to get clean. I would compare it to mid period, maybe even late period. Too much to be “spotting” but not enough to be a heavy period.

The thing is, I have no cramps at all. I’m so worried but I guess I’m looking for similar experiences.

If you’ve had this happen, what was the turnout? If you had a miscarriage, did you experience cramping the whole time or did you bleed with and without cramping?

I know spotting is “common” in early pregnancy but this seems more than spotting.

Other things I’d like to add: my first appt isn’t until 4/25.

The er nurse said I shouldn’t come in unless I’m in extreme pain because they can’t do anything for me.

I had to get a small lipoma removed on the inside of my thigh last week that required a few stitches, so I haven’t had intercourse since Monday.

I do not smoke or drink and I take my prenatal every day

And I’ve been drinking plenty of water today thinking it might be dehydration.
