Heart palpitations- connected to period?

Recently even since my period started this month I’ve been having chest pains and heart palpitations. I’ve googled this (which is never smart) and it said it may just be connected to my period. Should I be worried or is this normal?

Definitely go see your doctor, chest pain and palpitations are never normal. If it’s around your cycle it could be hormone related like your thyroid which can give some people palpitations if abnormal, but you always want to rule out cardiac concerns and bleeding issues such as severe anemia. If you don't typically experience heart palpitations (like from a heart condition), I think you should check in with your doctor just to be safe.
