Did your relationship get better after moving in together?

If you guys bickered or argued before moving in, did moving in help?

I mean. We were great when we moved in ... which is why we decided to move in together. 
Then we had some hard times since we were learning to coexist in the same space and learning flaws and truly having to let our guard down being together all the time. But it made us even greater and stronger as a couple since we learned we could accept each other flaws & all. 
But don’t move in to fix something. If something is wrong in a relationship, living together would make it soooo much worse.

I think it depends on the problems you're having. My SO and I were never on the same page which caused a lot of spats/bickering. But I chalk 99% of it up to us being long distance during that time. We are both super physical touch and quality time people so we were both not feeling loved. He moved closer and literally the next month we moved in together and I can't even think of the last fight we had 🤷

I believe in being married before living together and of course we were good at that point or we wouldn’t have gotten married. I will say this moving in with a guy is a HUGE move. You have to learn how someone lives. What they do at every moment. You’ll learn things that are annoying. You have to blend your lifestyle with theirs. I don’t suggest moving in together if you’re relationship is on the rocks so to speak. It’s almost like when people have a baby to “fix” their relationship. It won’t work it will definitely make things worse.

Idk why moving in together would help unless what you were fighting about was not having enough time together?? I just feel like that is something that should be figured out before moving in together. In a relationship it’s just never a good idea to assume anything will make it better other than actually trying to work it out. Trying to make other things fix your issues generally isn’t the answer. Communicate and get to the bottom of what’s going on before adding a new stress to the relationship.

Our relationship was great before and after. After it was easier and nice to combine bills, to both add to the house, to support each other and help each other out 😊

We moved in together immediately after getting married. We’d been long-distance for the last two of three and a half years. Our relationship was amazing though! It’s only gotten stronger in seven years of marriage. 
I would say that whatever state your relationship is in, living together in close quarters will amplify that. Before you take that step, make sure that you actually want to live with someone who treats you the way he does (and vice versa).
