Starting my Birth Control on a Tuesday?

Ive never taken birth control and I recently lost my virginity so this whole experience is new for me lol. I started my birth control the day I got my period, which was a Tuesday. I just noticed the little symbols on the pills and now I’ve gotten myself freak out that even though my period started on a Tuesday I should have started with the Sunday Pill. Is that okay or have a screwed myself over?

You’re supposed to start with the first pill. Most of them come with a little sticker to change the days of the week if it doesn’t line up with when you start. 
If those are the combination pills, just take those first two next and then continue with your pack because they are the same. Just don’t switch around any that are a different color.

It should have came with stickers to put over the week days. On the pack it starts with Sunday but you started taking it on a Tuesday, you still should have taken the first pill under Sunday first and just put a Tuesday sticker over the Sunday. 
Just continue taking them and finish the pack and start your next birth control with the first pill in the pack. Use condoms

You should start with the very first pill no matter what day it is. Most packs come with stickers you can put at the top so the days align with whatever day you start. Please talk to your GYN or pharmacist if you are confused.

The days of the week isnt when you have to start them. You start it from the first pill of the pack and then take 1 each day so your cycle is the right amount of days
