Plus size bump pictures

Tiernee

Hey Mamas!

I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant with our first rainbow baby. I'm feeling discouraged with my figure as I'm sure so many of you can relate to. I'm bloated more than usual and cant seem to "suck in" or posture differently to hide my stomach. Not pregnancy bumb just fat! Lol My question is... did you other plus size mamas take weekly bump photos and if not, did you regret it?

Thanks!

I’m only 5 weeks but I feel like even if it’s just Bloat and extra fluff why not celebrate it? But I’m feeling the same way about my body too.

I’m 250lbs and carry 95% of my weight in my stomach. I decided to take weekly pictures just for the hell of it. Not really expecting anything from it. But I’m SO glad I did! My stomach is changing so much already! It’s amazing to see. I’m still not as comfortable with myself as I would like to be but it gives me hope! One of my biggest fears is not actually looking pregnant.

I'm also 7 weeks pregnant. I'm not taking weekly belly shots until much later, because I carry so much of my weight in my stomach already...and watching myself get more and more bloated just doesn't do it for me. Once the baby is not so tiny, I'll be all about it!

I've been taking them and it's definitely worth it!

I took weekly photos and was happy! My son came at 33 weeks at 11:34pm and I had taken my weekly bump picture that morning! Even though I was definitely plus size I don’t regret it!

I’m 20 weeks +2 now.. pics are 16 weeks on the left and 20 weeks on the right.. I can see absolutely no difference and just feel fatter and not pregnant. My hubby says he can see the difference 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can definitely see a difference! Much rounder in the second!

209 lbs with my first baby and I’m only 10w5d along , I wish my bump would come, I just wanna have a bump instead of feeling like I look fat ☹️

I didn’t start take pictures of my body until 17 weeks and then when I hit 20 weeks I actually posted them on social media. Didn’t feel comfortable with anything else since I didn’t really pop until 18 weeks. Some days I still just feel “fat”

I’m plus size and I haven’t taken any weekly pictures. I carry my weight in my stomach like a spare tire so you can’t tell I’m pregnant really. I feel the bloating and inability to suck it in that you described and I think I just look more overweight than pregnant. It makes me sad but oh well. There are worse things I guess! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I have a couple random pictures from both pregnancies, but I didn’t bother with the weekly ones. I am tall with a long torso on top of carrying a lot of weight in my midsection. I never looked pregnant with my first and I don’t really at 30 weeks so far with this one.

Everyone carries differently! I see so many beautiful plus sized bumps. I think my main thing is being 5’11” lol. Baby has more room to stretch around. I’m not going to lie, it’s discouraging to not have a big, lovely bump like most. But don’t expect to not get one! And taking weekly pictures might make you feel better because you will 100% see the progress. I never had anything to look back on and compare to.

I'm worried about never looking pregnant either and the photos will just make me feel worse about the weight! I keep telling myself that healthy baby is most important!
