So I’ve been dating my boyfriend for about a week now and he already said “I love you” and I didn’t say it back I just kissed him is that too soon for him to say it should I have said it back?

I mean everyones standards of love are different, i would say a week is far too soon but then again it only took me about 3! I absolutely wouldnt say it back if you didnt mean it

don’t say it unless you feel the same but I feel like your response was just fine. you kissing him made him feel secure about what he said because thats a very vulnerable thing. it’s soon so I wouldn’t expect him to be upset or worried that you havent said it back but then again my boyfriend told me he loved me accidentally before we started dating and he’s the love of my life.
