first boyfriend?

so I’m in 8th grade, 14 years old. I’ve known this guy for about six months and we’ve confessed to each other for liking each other. we settled on this date during the six flags field trip 😂 kinda weird but we agreed to it.

I was texting him and was like “so.. are we like boyfriend and girlfriend now” and he said “it’s up to you” and I said “i’m fine with it” and I dunno if I went too fast or if we’re not ready or if we’re too young. we hang out at school and we talk a lot too. we text all the time and I’m pretty comfortable around him but only texting. it gets a little awkward at school but it takes some time for me to let loose.

did I rush it? am I too young? this is my first “relationship” kinda thing so idk. please help a sister y’all I’m nervous
