Why won’t he sext back now?

So my husband I have known each other for over20+yes, went to same high school then lost each other since then. Reconnected about 9yrs ago, and the first time I seen him after all those years I was in love. But things were complicated at that time. So we became besties. Then about 3-4yrs after that I ended up single and so did he. We started sexting a lot, never met up or anything until we decide we was going into a relationship and together for the long haul. The first time we actually together as couple was amazing, we got married and then about 6 months after all the sexting stopped, not even any pictures or little flirt messages. However I still send him sext messages, photos or videos but I haven’t received anything in over a year. What happened?? I have asked him and he says life changes but that never stopped the sexting before!?!?!?
