Is he interested in me or just fwb?

I need some help with something!!

There was this guy in my math class last year who I had a mini crush on he had a girlfriend at the time but she broke up with him and he’s been single for a year. He graduated last June and I thought I’d never see him again.

Cause I’m a senior this year and he goes to community college near by. Awhile after I got out of a toxic relationship (In January) one of my friends had him on snap and he told me to hmu cause he remembered me. We’ve been “talking” since then and we’ve hung out since then too. At first I thought all he wanted was to hook up but now I’m doubting it. The past few weeks to month or so he’s been acting different. He’s been wanting to hang out more and wants me to come over and spend a lot of time with him during spring break which starts on Friday.

By how he’s talking, it sounds like a date I guess if you go out and do something you want and he pays for you or whatever. We ft a lot when he’s not at work and he always asks me about my day and how I’m feeling and we have real conversations and I feel so happy every time we talk and hang out. Today he called me and was like “wow you didn’t pick up the first time I guess you don’t wanna talk to me and I’ve been wanting to talk to you all day cause I thought of you and wanted to hear your voice”. It was cute af haha. Anyways, my friends think he maybe wants more but I can’t tell and idk how to ask him about it this weekend.

He’s just so nice and seems to actually care about me and idk if it’s just extreme flirting or he’s actually interested in me. And I’m falling for him and I don’t wanna get hurt again if he doesn’t want what I want.
