I always thought that my mother-in-law and I had a decent relationship... not super close, but very cordial and friendly. She’s been begging us (a family of four) to move states and live in the same house as her, her mentally challenged adult son and addict brother. Obviously as adults we have no desire or real reason to move in with her, but she just hasn’t let up on the idea no matter how many times we’ve told her “no.”

Tonight reached an all time low when she told my husband in a phone call that I was cheating on him, that I had a boyfriend and THAT’S the reason that I refuse to move over there. It hurts my heart that she would even say something like that to my husband as he’s the love of my life- whom I’ve been completely faithful to for the entirety of our 7 year relationship.

He and I have decided not to speak to her for awhile simply to cool off- but in all honestly, I would just love to call her out on her fake ass bullshit. 🙄
