Liver on the right side?

My right side behind the rib cage has been hurting me today. I always suspect I have some sort of issue but my doctor and gp say it’s normal? Has anyone experienced this?

I had that pain and if it radiates to the back between your shoulder blades it is most often gallbladder pain but you’d probably need an abdo u/sound which will look at all your major organs to see if there’s a problem

I get ribcage pain sometimes and it hurts when I breathe in. My doctor told me that sometimes your lungs become inflamed and they rub against your ribs causing them to swell. It could be this.

The kidneys sit in the back, but yes the liver is on the right side. The only way to find out the problem is via blood test or CT scan.
