HELP! Confused and Scared!

Zoey

🙋‍♀️ Hi! My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about a year now. I have never been on birth control or any other kind of medications so we figured it would be easy, Wrong! Within this year I have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Lupus (which I am on medication for now) and fibroids. The fibroid I have is about the size of a soft ball and is pushing on my uterus creating no room for anything to either get through or to grow.

I was informed only a week ago that I will have to get a Dnc hysteroscopy. They need to go in there an shave off the fibroid and take off the polyps that are blocking the "roadway "

Apparently once I get my menstrual cycle it all starts from there and it seems to happen so fast. Now the fibroid does cause terrible pain where I have ended up in urgent care thinking it's my gallbladder or appendix. So I mean I could not have the procedure and just have a few days of bed ridden pain. But then the doctor told me that if we did end up getting pregnant it would most likely end in a miscarriage bc of the fibroid being so big. 😭

So I was just wondering if anyone else has had this procedure? Was it successful? Complications? Did you decide not to have it done? Why or why not?

According to glow I have 2 days until my next cycle and I'm kinda freaking out!!

Thank you in advance! 💜
