I am a waitress and I have a cold sore. What do I do?

Question

I have the BIGGEST cold that I’ve ever had in my life.
I don’t want people to see it all day when they are trying to eat. What should I do?
Has anyone tried those cold sore patches or should or just put a small bandage like the circle kind. 
I’ve never had one bad enough to wear I had to do this so I’m not sure!
PLEASE HELP

I cant give advice for the cold sore I dont get them but if I had a huge gross pimple I'd put on some wild eye makeup to distract away from the spot. Seemed to work

First of all, use L Lysine supplement, 1000mg 3x a day. That will make it go back into dormancy faster. Also get a lip cream that has lysine in it.
I'd also probably get some sort of bandage. I had a cut on my lip not long ago and I found those round bandaids didn't stick well as my mouth moved when talking.
