Miscarriage Problems

Wynter

Ok so I’ll start here. Almost 2 years ago I had a miscarriage and went to the hospital. After waiting 4 hours in the waiting room and another 2 waiting for the doctor, after his examination he confirmed it was a miscarriage and saying it was probably from the spine not developing properly. I started balling my eyes out, he pretty much told me it was fine and didn’t offer any councillors or any other advise at all. Another hour later he came back with instructions for the next day. I was told to come back for more testing, another 6 hours at a hospital and usually that’s fine but in the physical and mental state I was in I wanted no part of it. But something that has always bothered me about my hospital experience is the lack of support from medical staff and for lack of a better word the “violation” I have always felt from the examinations. I understand that the tests needed to be done but I feel like there should have been more sensitivity and support for that situation. Has anyone ever left the hospital feeling like this? I don’t think it’s right. We go to them at our time of need.
