Car seat!!?

Okay momma's, I need your help! 
I'm due in just a little over 8 weeks and I still don't have a car seat! We're running very low on money (fiance lost his job, just got a new one but is only part time/temporary making only about $200-250 a week!). 
Any suggestions on where I can find a good, cheap and new car seat?! I looked at Walmart but the cheapest my local Walmart has is $159! 
My hospital used to give car seats to those who didn't have one, but for some reason they no longer do.. I'm at a loss and could really use some suggestions!!😭😭

Car seats are very important and they have to be brand new. I suggest saving up or maybe asking someone to borrow some money. There's really no way of getting around it. The hospital won't even let you leave with your baby unless you have a safe car seat.

Try a free clinic near you they can possibly help or a consignment store just be sure to check the labels to make sure they haven’t expired but normally they check before

Check Walmart.com! They have some for the $30-60 range and you could just have it shipped to the store or straight to your house.

Also they do NOT have to be brand new I brought my premature baby home in a USED car seat they just have to be in date and meet all safety requirements

The Cosco Scenera Next is very affordable at about $44 brand new. It is a convertible seat, meaning it doesn’t snap in/out, but it’s completely safe for a newborn and can rear face most kids well beyond 2 years!
For an inexpensive infant seat the UrbinicSonti is $70 or the Cosco light n comfy is around $60. All found on Walmart.com
The safest option is an inexpensive, NEW seat. Used seats come with u known history and are therefore not recommended. All seats must meet the SAME safety standards. You pay extra for “bells and whistles” NOT safety.

Do not buy a used car seat,you can not guarantee it has never been in a wreck or if it was washed properly
