How do you know if you have a kidney stone?

Ok so over the last 2 or 3 days I keep having where I feel like I gotta pee but only a little comes out. Like I wake up in the night feeling like I’m bout to pee myself but then only a tiny bit comes out. Then about 2 hours ago I started having a stabbing/ throbbing pain in my back on the left side under my rib cage I thought I was just sitting funny but any time I adjusted it didn’t help so I went for a walk and still no relief. I feel like the pain is worsening idk what it is or what to do. I’m 10 almost 11 weeks pregnant and have no one to keep my daughter while I go get it checked out so I’m trying to think of what I could be. My husband said maybe a kidney stone but I’ve never had one before in my life so don’t know what to look for
