Bad habit?

Question

Is it bad for me to feed my baby every time I try putting him to sleep? Will he be able to put himself to sleep sometimes without me having to feed him or is it gonna become a habit for him?

My mum did that for my first two months and didn't get any sleep whatsoever. Her friends recommended Babywise and I was a lot better. She did that for my siblings as well and it worked every time.

It will definitely become a habit.  We're having this problem now with my 1 year old.   It's a hard habit to break.

It will be bad once he has teeth and needs to brush them before bed. They should only have water after brushing teeth

Its gonna form a bad habbit itll be harder to stop when they are older my aunt did this and her kids still to this day need something to drink in their room to fall asleep
