When does the placenta take over?

I’m 10w5d and have had morning sickness and nausea every day since 5 weeks. Yesterday and today, nothing. Could this be a sign that the placenta has taken over the production of progesterone?

It's close to 10-12 weeks

10-12 weeks.  I didn’t get better until 13 weeks and then it was like a switch flipped and suddenly I was better 😂 pretty much overnight

I feel like all my symptoms have gone away until yesterday when I threw up. Lol hopefully it’s going to calm down soon :)
