Travel with 20 month old?

Hello moms, whats your experience like with sleeping arrangement of a 18/20 month old? We obviously wont fit into playpan anymore (last time we did we were 11 months old) Do i bring bed rail with me? Thanks

My daughter will be 2 years old next month and still sleeps in a pack n play when we travel without issues 🤷🏻‍♀️ she's been in the 99th percentile for height since she was 3 months old too. So I'm not sure why your 18-20 month old can't sleep in one too. And I definitely wouldn't want to be lugging around a bed rail. That seems highly unnecessary to me. If we don't have a pack n play with us, then our daughter sleeps between me and my husband.

My MIL let us borrow a kids air mattress that she had bought it’s small and it’s not very tall. It has a little bit of a lip on the sides to keep them from rolling off to easily.  My daughter loved it. It came with a cover too so you don’t have to bring sheets and all that. Just a blanket that they like or whatever.
