What happens at your 38 week appointment?

So I have An appointment for my 38 week checkup on Thursday & I’m just curious on what they usually do? My last pregnancy I gave birth the day I turned 37 weeks so I didn’t experience any appointments after that
I been 1 cm for a bit now, and haven’t had any signs that labor is near. So I really don’t know what to expect 🙄

Just had mine today. They do vitals, measure fundal height, check babies heart rate, and check your cervix if you want. 
They also just go over any concerns you have if you have any.

They measure your belly, check heart beat, and if you want they check your cervix. I'm 38 weeks and 4 days and have an appointment Wednesday and that's what mine is doing. Same with my last 2 appointments
