If baby is measuring big 3 to 4 weeks ahead does that mean early delivery? ?

My son is measuring 38 weeks I'm 34 weeks he is already over 7 lbs the doc has not changed my due date but wants to induce at 39 weeks I feel with him being so big my body will just go into labor on its own before my induction I also have extra fluid with an AFI of 30 so I feel as if I'm a over filled water balloon ready to pop any second

Ultrasound measurements are not exact and can vary. I was induced and baby measured over 5.5lbs and was born the next morning weighing 4lbs 8oz.

Unfortunately no. At my 34 week appt we knew baby was 6 lbs 12.5 oz and over the 90th percentile. Im now 37 weeks and the baby is supposedly around 9 lbs already. And we are just waiting around! I’ll be getting a stretch and sweep at my 38 week appt!

I would wait it out and if labor doesn't start on it's own by 40 weeks then do induction. That being said they induced my mil at 36 weeks with my husband because he was supposed to be around 13 pounds full term, he was 9 pounds at birth. So it's a hit or miss the the ultrasound, sometimes they're wrong but sometimes they're right, there's no 100 percent way to know how big baby is until birth
