Babywearing winter coat?

FTM here with a question for moms who have had summer babies before: did you buy/use a winter coat that accommodated baby wearing? I live in the Midwest - so cold winters- and I was wondering if I’m carrying my four month old around in December will I want a winter jacket that would fit around a baby carrier? Did anyone ever use a larger coat for baby wearing after the baby was born?

I had a June ‘14 Baby and I did not buy a larger winter coat for baby wearing. I specifically kind of avoided baby wearing during winter (I live on the east coast) bc I didn’t want to risk any falls on ice or slippery slush with baby attached to me so even tho it was a pain and would have been 10x easier just attaching him to me when we were out, I’d always lug him around in the car seat and always kept the stroller in my trunk during winter months.

I’m having a July baby and I actually purchased a pregnancy coat and it extends for a carrier and my belly but of course it’s spring now so I don’t need it but we will be going to my sons football games it will be helpful

I live in Ohio and found a hoodie online that was made to accommodate babywearing. It even had a separate hood for baby.
