do you use security cameras on your home?

we are getting ours soon, and i was curious to know just how many mamas use them. do you like them? what’s your favorite feature? what brands do you have?

We have a night owl, surveillance system. It has 8 cameras my husband installed them and it connects to his phone. The only thing we’ve caught on it, is my teenager sneaking out 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

No, really no need to. But BIL installs them for a living and he has his home surveilled like it’s Fort Knox. Don’t see the need for it where we live really. My sister lives in a less than desirable area and my BIL’s company van has been broken into before so see their need for it.

Not in the apartment but we do have a cam on the door to the apartment. Ring is the best, I recommend it!

We got ours when I started staying home more at night by myself and I had a hard time at first. It’s nice to be able to see when people are at the front door or packages get dropped off. I used one in my bedroom at night so I could keep an eye on my husband and daughter when I worked overnights, and now I have it in her room so I don’t have to carry a monitor around because it’s on my phone. It turns on and alerts me to movement

We use Nest cameras and their doorbell.

Ring doorbell and Ring spotlight cam. If someone comes into view I get an alert on my phone and the driveway lights up. I feel much safer with it and I can also talk to whoever is outside through a speaker and turn on a loud siren. They also have night-vision with a very clear picture!

We have a total of 5 ARLO cameras and we love them. We get notified anytime someone comes to our house and its is wireless too. My husband works late at times and it calms to know he knows if someone is outside my house at night while I am asleep. I feel safe
