Love/hate relationship with depo at the moment.. help!

Depo worked for me 100 percent for over 3 years. No spotting and no periods. I took a break from it for a few months to regulate my periods and have recently started with depo again. Since I've been back on it I spot nonstop!! I have only gotten one round of the shot and am going in a few weeks for my 2nd this year. Has anyone had this problem, and does it get better?! I love this birth control but the spotting is ridiculous!! Help!
